Team AHSome at the 2016 Oakland Running Festival

Jump start your New Year with Health & Vitality with Asian Health Services!

Asian Health Services (AHS) is very excited to be an official Charity Partner in the 2016 Oakland Running Festival. The Oakland Running Festival is a city-wide event that not only showcases Oakland’s communities and its people; it also helps raise money for local nonprofits like AHS.

For this year’s Festival, AHS is raising funds to further support the medically underserved, Asian and Pacific Islander community. Runners can get friends and family to sponsor their efforts. And together, with your help, we can provide high standard of excellence in healthcare to more people, where it’s needed most.  Our goal is to raise $10,000 this year!

There are several ways to participate. You can run or walk the 5 kilometer (3 miles), half (13 miles) or full (26 miles) marathon or team relay (26.3 miles).  If you sign up to run and help raise a minimum of $200, your registration fee will be waived! *Please note that if you are unable to meet the $200 minimum goal, we ask each participant to pay for your registration fee in order to help cover costs.

If you are not a runner, you can still be a part of Team AHSome!  We need volunteers to support the race runners. AHS will need an energetic crew to distribute water and snacks to runners at the main water stop at the end of the race.

Team AHSome runners and volunteers will receive a limited edition AHS T-Shirt!
