Aha Moments with Asian Health Services” is an online medium, featuring a series of educational videos on important pediatric issues. The overall goal of this project is to provide culturally sensitive parenting support for limited English speaking Asian American and Pacific Islander (API) caregivers around the health and development of the growing child.

The videos are recorded in 5 different languages: English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin by our Asian Health Services pediatricians. Language barriers are one of the prominent issues that are preventing the underserved, immigrant communities from getting the quality healthcare that they need. Although there are many health educational videos out on the internet, it is very difficult to find ones that are geared towards the limited English speaking API community. This project aims to bridge the gap of health disparities by reducing these language barriers.
