PROJECT:
My project was qualitative research where I interviewed LGBTQ and HIV patients. I was able to hear what they have to say about the services they were receiving and what can be done to improve their care and experience. Even more gratifying was the chance to hear all the stories and learn how each patient handled very similar sounding situations in different ways.
WHY REACH?
I would definitely recommend this program to my friends and fellow classmates. I had great time shadowing provider, meeting and learn from different fields as the website mentioned. However, it would be helpful to know what kinds of work the past intern did. Other than that I just had great time learning from everyone and I would like to thank everyone for making this possible.
