Under supervision from the Clinic RN Manager, the Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) performs routine nurse visits and clinical procedures such as, but not limited to; taking and recording vital signs and recognizing variances from normal; performing EKG, spirometry, audiometry, Snellen and other tests; performs other clinic duties as necessary under the direction of the clinician or registered nurse; performs non-complicated nurse visits and document using SOAP format; delegate tasks to non-licensed nursing staff, health coaches (medical assistants) and volunteers within the unit. Requires Associate’s Degree from two-year college or graduate of an approved LVN program with 2 to 3 years’ related experience in healthcare setting, CPR certification and Current CA LVN license. Familiarity with community health clinics preferred.
Bilingual in English and Cantonese required.
