History of AHS Dental Clinic

Our main dental clinic opened in 2003 and is equipped with state-of-the-art digital radiology and electronic dental records. We provide a full scope of primary oral health care with a strong emphasis on prevention and education. In recent years, the dental clinic has added several programs to expand its scope of services in order to serve the patients better and still maintained the high quality of care to our patients.

These programs include:

  • A partnership with USCF School of Dentistry and A T Still Arizona School of Dentistry and Oral Health (ASDOH) and their student externship programs
  • A partnership with Lutheran Medical Center and its Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency program. The dental residency program is fully accredited by the American Dental Association, Commission on Dental Education (CODA)
  • In house advanced specialty care including on-site specialists in endodontics, periodontics, pediatric and oral surgery.
  • In 2010, the dental program opened its second site that is located on the campus of College of Alameda, offering dental services to residents living in the city of Alameda.

Our patients are able to access to high quality dental care provided by top dental students, dental residents, highly skilled general dentists and board-eligible/certified specialists. Most of our providers are credentialed and serve as faculty of dental schools. With the help of these providers, AHS dental program is able to provide our patients with advanced care that would not otherwise be available to them.
