This clinic is named after Frank Kiang, Founder, Chairman & CEO of Metropolitan Bank. In addition to being a banker and entrepreneur, he was a community leader who worked tirelessly to raise the standing of Asian Americans locally and nationally. Mr. Kiang passed away in 2007 after a 5-year battle with cancer. This clinic is dedicated to his memory.
Frank Kiang Medical Center is made possible with funding by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, funds from the Consolidated Appropriations Act secured by Congresswoman Barbara Lee, and support from Kaiser Permanente, Sutter Health, Chevron, the Community Clinics Initiative of the Tides Foundation, and Alameda County.
