AHS holds Pediatrics Vaccine Pop-Up Clinics

On November 10, 2021, AHS held our first pediatric vaccine pop-up clinic for those ages 5-11 years old at Madison Park, and will be continuing to be there the rest of the year and beyond.

In addition to our COVID team, our dedicated dental team was also there to offer fluoride varnishes to the kids during their observation period. It was wonderful to see the little ones getting vaccinated, and walking away with all smiles, carrying stuffed animals, animal balloons (made by our dental staff), stickers and bubbles. For our November 17th clinic, we were also joined by our friends from the Oakland Public Library who came and provided free books. It gave our staff joy and relief to be able to get to this point, and we’re so proud of our staff and community coming together to help and make a great vaccination experience for the children!
