AHS CEO Julia Liou Speaks at TAAF inaugural Partner Summit and Heritage Month Reception

On May 19, TAAF held its inaugural Partner Summit in Washington DC, bringing together 75 leaders from corporate, community, government and media arenas to foster collaboration and connection. Julia Liou spoke on AHS’ anti-Asian hate work in the context of AHS’ advocacy and roots in civil rights and public health during the panel featuring TAAF’s three pilot action centers – AHS, Asian American Federation in NY, Chinese American Service League in Chicago-and Advancing Justice as well as Stop AAPI Hate.  Attendees included White House staff- Erika Moritsugu, Deputy Assistant/AAPI Liaison to President Biden; Rohini Kosoglu, Domestic Policy Advisor to Vice President Harris- influencers Daniel Dae Kim, Jose Antonio Vargas, Jeremy Lin, C100 and TAAF corporate board members.  The Summit was a key opportunity for our pilot action centers to meet in-person.
