Position Summary:
With supervision from the Head Nurse, performs routine clinical skills and nurse visits, including clinical procedures and participating in patient education.
Essential Job Function:
1. Performs routine clinical skills, including clinical procedures and participating in patient education
2. Performs non-complicated nurse visits by using SOAP format.
3. Assists in the supervision of non-licensed nursing staff, including volunteers, delegating tasks as appropriate.
4. Participates in orientation and training for volunteers and new staffs
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Associates degree from a two-year college or graduate of an approved LVN program
Experience: One to three years related experience in a health care setting
Preferred: Commitment to working in the Asian community, to community health care with familiarity with community health clinics preferred.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations: Current California LVN license, CPR certification, IV certification HIPPA Training Certificate
Bilingual/bicultural in an Asian language required.
