Jason Zhen Wang | AHS Board Member

Jason Wang immigrated to the United States from China, and first arrived in New York. When he first arrived, he spoke little English, yet he needed a medical home. Finally, after some research on the web, Jason found out about AHS, and decided to move to the Bay Area because he needed culturally and linguistically competent care. In 2015, Jason became an AHS patient, where he received comprehensive medical and dental care. Jason has often said “AHS saved my life.” He was extremely grateful for the great care he received, and would like to see AHS continue to help others like him, who feel very vulnerable as a new immigrant. Jason is fluent in Mandarin, and is very knowledgeable about social media. He joined the AHS Board to provide his patient perspective to guide AHS’ goals of ensuring high quality care and community advocacy.
