The National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA) has published two manuals in the past on Health Information Technology (HIT). NNOHA continues to assess the electronic health record needs of safety-net programs and makes recommendations in selecting technology solutions that support health care teams to work efficiently.
Asian Health Services’ Chief Dental Officer Huong Le, DDS, MA, FACD, FICD, FPFA, is a former board member, past President, and past Chair of the HIT Committee. During her tenure, NNOHA published these first two manuals.
This most recent publication update reported on the evolution of HIT. Dr. Le was joined by Masa Tsutsumi, IT/IS Manager at AHS, in the HIT workgroup.
