PROJECT:
AHA Moments with Asian Health Services is an online medium, featuring a series of educational videos on a YouTube channel. The goal of this project was to provide support for limited English speaking Asian American and Pacific Islander caregivers around the health and the development of a growing child. I was able to work with our pediatricians and personally designed and recorded videos in 5 different languages, English, Vietnamese, Japanese, Cantonese, and Mandarin.
WHY REACH?
The REACH internship was a very eye-opening experience. Coming into the internship, I was uncertain about my career path. During this internship, I met many great providers in various fields and it was during these reflective and learning periods that I was able to reignite my passion for medicine.
