PUBLIC TRANSPORT
BART: Take Fremont Line to Lake Merritt Station. You will need to walk or take an AC Transit bus to the clinic.
Bus: Take the AC Transit lines 13, 14, 18, 40, 618 or 840.
Parking: There is limited on-site parking available for patients. There is also metered street parking on East 18th.
Located on the east side of Lake Merritt, Frank Kiang Medical Center offers comprehensive health care services for patients of all ages. The center has 10 exam rooms and can serve more than 5,000 patients every year. The modern facility has unique features like larger exam rooms which accommodates our patients who often come to appointments with family members or interpreters. The center is named after Frank Kiang, a community leader and former chairman and CEO of Metropolitan Bank who passed away in 2007.

PATIENT NAVIGATOR SERVICES
To receive care at the Frank Kiang Medical Center, you must be a member of Asian Health Services. Patient navigators are staff who can help you become a member. They will also make appointments, interpret, answer your phone calls, help with referrals, and guide you to get the health care you need. They are specially trained to help you apply for discounted health programs such as Medicare, MediCal, Healthy Families, CMSP (a County program for uninsured people), and others. They speak Cantonese, English, Khmer, Korean, Mandarin, Mongolian, Tagalog, and Vietnamese.
