Moving community health forward in the Year of the Fire Horse
Dear Friends of AHS,
This rare Lunar New Year of the Fire Horse is one of strength, courage, innovation, and transformation. It is a call to action and a reminder that our steadfast movements, collective voice, and collaborative efforts are pivotal to the future of health for our community.
Though we face shifting policies and major funding challenges, we are grateful for your partnership that has provided the stability and strength to power the health of thousands in our community–from launching an award-winning Happy Kitchen ‘food as medicine’ program to building a Program of All-Inclusive Care for Elderly (PACE) Center , a national model of care for our seniors.
As we ramp up to reach our $15 million capital campaign goal to build new community health hubs of service, including our PACE Center, we are especially grateful to many of you who have committed to giving toward a gold standard of care that will ensure that our elders can live with dignity. To keep this momentum going, I humbly ask for your support in the final push to our goal.
In the spirit of giving, we have received an anonymous Lunar New Year challenge gift of $50,000 – every dollar given or pledged up to $50,000 will be matched 1:1.
Thank you for your generosity, trust, and shared commitment to our mission of delivering and advancing quality health care and community well-being for all.
Wishing you and your loved ones a Year of the Fire Horse that inspires strength and success in all that lies ahead.
