Temperature Screening FAQ

  • Why do you want to take my temperature?
    • We believe it is an important measure to help us protect the health of our patients, employees, and community.
  • What will happen if my temperature is 100.0 or higher?
    • If you do have a fever, this information will allow us to better serve your health care needs. This can be in the form of a regular visit and examination or a telephone call health visit.
  • How will my temperature be taken?
    • We will use an infra-red thermometer to take each person’s temperature.
  • What happens if I refuse?
    • We respect your decision. For your safety and the safety of others, we are not allowing anyone to enter the building if they do not agree to have their temperature.
