Responsible for providing direct behavioral health treatment services to community severely mentally ill (SMI) clients who are primarily Medi-Cal beneficiaries. Services to be provided include mental health screening, assessments, crisis stabilization, individual/group/family therapy, culturally and linguistically relevant assessment, treatment, advocacy and targeted case management. Master’s degree or higher from an accredited school in social work, marriage and family therapy, clinical/counseling psychology, or related field required. Must be licensed in good standing and registered with respective board as LCSW, LMFT, LPCC or Licensed Psychologist. Experience in API and SMI communities preferred. Must have knowledge of current evidence based practices, theoretical principles, and culturally appropriate practices for services with clients with serious behavioral health conditions. Must have knowledge of psycho-diagnostics, psychopharmacology, clinical and strength based terminologies. Must have knowledge of administrative practices and procedures, including records management and billing.
English required, Bilingual in an Asian language preferred
