The Program Planner is responsible for coordinating all aspects of grant development, including foundation research, program/project design, writing and packaging proposals, and writing grant reports. S/He also monitors grants and contracts activities and compliance relevant to the agency’s mission; conducts research and needs assessments; and plans corporate, facilities, and special projects as assigned.
Excellent English writing skills and strong work ethic are required. Must be able to analyze and interpret complex information, and organize and present this information in a clear, concise, compelling, and persuasive manner through writing. Must be able to learn quickly and demonstrate a proactive approach.
Experience in grant writing, development, and health desirable. Familiarity with the Asian community preferred.
This is an on-site position, based at our office in Oakland, California.
